Taxes going up in Jones County

Superintendent Tommy Parker and Business Operations Director Dale Keyes of the Jones County School District met with the Jones County Board of Supervisors Thursday to request a 10 mil tax increase to help pay a debt the school district acquired with the passage of a $37 million bond issue in 2007.
