Judge sets date in Blakeney Case

On Tuesday, Judge Billy Joe Landrum set a date in the capital murder trial of Justin Barrett Blakeney. 
In February, the highly anticipated murder trial ended in a mistrial after two days of jury selection failed to produce enough qualified jurors to try the case. The new trial will begin on July 7th when Jones County court officials will travel to Leakesville in Greene County to select a jury and bring them back to be sequestered in Jones County for the duration of the trial.
