“Ghosts of Ole Miss” premiers tonigh

 This 30-for-30 documentary is scheduled for showing on Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. on ESPN. It will revisit the tumultuous events at the University of Mississippi in 1962, when racial violence over integration collided with pride and enthusiasm for an undefeated football team. Fifty years later, the effects of those events are still being felt. Three Laurel High School graduates, Billy Sumrall (24), Dr. Doug Tillery (43), and Buddy Crosby (20) were varsity members of that team. Chet Bergalowksi and Rocky Fleming, also of Laurel High, were members of the freshman squad.
